Institutions from all over the country have installed works designed and created by Tor. The Wichita Kansas Exploration Place has a xylophone tea table and musical chairs. Portland Adventist Medical Center recently had tor install an outdoor xylophone bench in their newly opened garden area, specifically designed for behavioral health patients. And he is currently designing a piece for the soon to be opened Olympia Hands on Children’s Museum, where a xylophone of his design has been on display for many years.

I received a phone call from Wilson Chan of ZEntertainment of Hong Kong in the late winter. He was looking to make an opening ceremony of a new shopping mall more exciting than that sounds. The mall was spectacular, with hi-end retailers as well as the prominent presence of large stores like Ikea. They ordered a number of my pieces and flew me out for the ceremony. (complete with a confetti canon).

Musical Furnishings is very excited to introduce the Musical Rumba Series. Design your own personal drum table with durable, interchangeable and rearrangeable percussion inserts.

Choose from four different sized tables to suit your musical and space needs. The smallest table accepts four of the smaller instruments and the largest accepts sixteen.

Make sure to watch the videos below and carefully consider which inserts you desire. The tables are easily shipped UPS and only require the legs to be attached (very easy requiring no tools)

All orders are hand built by NW Artist Tor Clausen in his Studio in Olympia WA.
